Royston Blythe has transformed my hair after a previous hair dresser cut my hair too short, the hair extensions are amazing and are easy to maintain, the staff are so friendly and caring, I would recommend here to anyone that wants hair extensions.

Absolutely loved getting my hair done at Royston Blythe. My stylist was very professional, friendly, and warming. Hand sanitizer available, they wore face shields. I was extremely nervous and they were so polite and friendly. Professionalism was out standing. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted but happy with the result and can't wait for next time.

I have been a client of Royston Blythe now for about 17 years. I started coming, when I worked at The Express and Star, I stopped a woman with the most fabulous hair, and she told me she came to Royston Blythe. The salon has the most wonderful atmosphere, the team are very friendly, and I travel 30 miles to visit the salon. The team are fun, down to earth and I cannot wait to hear the stories! Everyone here makes you feel special! Gospel piece of advice - Stay Blonde! They know what suits you and they make you look fabulous.

I have been going to the Shrewsbury Salon now for nearly 12 months and have a great team working with me. I have always been apprehensive previously with hairdressers as never really liked what was done when going to many salons and found the whole process a bit of a chore. Royston Blythe have completely changed that, I LOVE coming as when I leave I always feel like a million dollars. I currently have taken the plunge for the Hair Extensions and just love them. So well done to a amazing team and thanks for making me feel super duper special when I come in . See you in two weeks where the team will be keeping me looking amazing for a very special occasion. A little nervous about visiting this salon but my friends had told me how much I would love it and my only regret is not going sooner. I had a good chat with the hairdresser and colourist before they started and they really advised me on what would suit my skin tone and helped me decide on a cut that would suit my face shape. I felt really relaxed from the beginning and whilst the salon was buzzing and really busy everybody still took great care of each of their customers offering drinks, chatting away with a lovely, unassuming approach. For the first time in many years I left hairdressers feeling fabulous, with amazing hair that has never looked so good and I actually rebooked while I was there! Totally recommend!

I went to the Shrewsbury salon earlier in the week, Royston Blythe cut my hair for the first time and I have to say it is the best it has ever looked! Not only am I over the moon with the cut, but the service was second to none too. Nothing to was too much for any of the staff there and I highly recommend a visit!! I am already booked in for 6 weeks time.

I was a regular at the Shrewsbury Salon. The best hairdresser I've had and I've had A LOT. Reasons being, the stylist was able to understand exactly what I wanted and also gave her own advice when I asked for it and made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable which I feel is a necessity for a top class hairdresser/stylist. Sadly no longer in the area but will always come back if I ever move closer again. Highly recommended!

My first visit to Royston Blythe in Shrewsbury after booking an appointment for a Gents Cut and I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. The stylist cut my hair and she's done a fantastic job - she took the time to listen to what I wanted and was a pleasure to sit and chat to for 40 mins. The service at Royston Blythe is exemplary and the fact that they specifically offer Men's Cuts was the reason I chose them in the first place. Well worth the expense and Royston Blythe have certainly got another loyal customer.

First time back to Royston Blythe since lockdown. On arrival face masks were handed out and I was shown to my seat straightway and made to feel at ease, nothing was too much effort. I would like to say a big thank you to my stylist for my colour and my restyle I absolutely love it. Its so nice to feel like "me" again. All your staff are a credit to you, stay safe and I'll see you all again in 7 weeks.

I have been a client of Royston Blythe for about 35 years. I met Nick when he worked in Birmingham and after they opened their own salon in Newbridge, I became a regular client of RB. My daughter Sonia came to Nick for her wedding hair and after that we always came together. Once my granddaughter arrived, they also came to salon and Jessica, still travels back from London for her regular visits. She has now got Children and I think they will also become future clients, as we never go anywhere else. I feel like a new person when I leave Royston Blythe. We have visited the salon for all the family weddings and they have been wonderful, I feel the team make every visit special, whatever the occasion. They work miracles, they know what you want, and the results are PERFECT every time.

Wish I lived closer to Shrewsbury... popped into the salon prior to attending a christening. I hadn’t been in before, but I felt really comfortable. The colour technicians at Royston Blythe are the best you can get. I have very problematic hair and I put my complete and utter trust in the team. Over the years that I have been having my hair pampered at Royston Blythe I can put my hand on my heart and say I have never been to a salon that is perfect in every way, from reception staff to junior stylists they all make you feel special. I want to commend Charles on employing such wonderful staff in each department of the salon.

I have coming to Nick for over 30 years, my friend Sally introduced me, after a really bad hair cut by another stylist and it was so bad, I refused to go out!!! She dragged me kicking and screaming and he completely sorted me out and I have never been anywhere else. Except on holiday, When, I can honestly say over the years only 2 stylists have ever got halfway there. Although Nick doesn’t always do my hair anymore, the team are all so well trained, that I have had lots of the stylists over the years and they are all amazing and everything is 10 out of 10, every time.! During my visit, I love my chats with Royston and all the Gossip, but, when I walk out, I feel that they have performed a little bit of magic! Nick has been there throughout my life. He did my wedding hair, when we drank champagne together, losing friends and my Mom and Dad and what strikes me most is their kindness. They feel like family, Nick will give you a hug when you most need it and whatever you are going through, you don’t have to put on brave face.

I met Nick when he was 19. My niece was his junior at the time, and she raved about how good he was, so I became his client. I was the one who persuaded them to open the salon at Newbridge. I had the boutique next door and so I wrote the letter to the salon owner asking her if she was interested in selling the business. When Royston moved in, we had such fun, running in and out of next door. I never forget, they decorated my Christmas window and it was so fabulous, that there was a crash outside, as everyone stared as they drove passed!
