Charles Douek is a distinguished Master Stylist and Creative Visionary at Royston Blythe, where he has carved an illustrious career in the world of Hairdressing. With over two decades of experience, acquiring a wealth of knowledge and expertise Charles has earned a reputation as an exceptional hairstylist known for his artistic flair and dedication to his craft.
Taking ownership of Royston Blythe in 2023, Charles’ unwavering commitment is to create a new era of excellence within hairdressing. His passion to deliver cutting edge trends and techniques ensures that clients desires and aspirations are brought to life with precision and style. Ensuring every visit to Royston Blythe is a memorable and uplifting experience.
Our History
After making a name for himself for his stunning work in areas including fashion shows, wedding hair, education and stage work, Royston established the salon under his own name in 1989. Partner Nick Malenko makes up the other half of the renowned Royston Blythe brand, and together they have led their two salons in Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton to international acclaim.
Royston and Nick are international guest artists for industry leaders L’Oreal, giving them the opportunity to travel the globe as educators, advisors, competition judges, and spokespersons for the brand.
Their work has also been seen on the London catwalks alongside top designer Christian Lacroix, at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, and of course on a host of well-known stars of film and television.
