Diary - November 2007

Well our big day was a year ago! And I would probably not even remember it; the year has gone by so quickly.

This year the big wedding is Natasha Hamilton and Riad Erraji. Not only is Natasha a client but also a friend and they are always the best weddings to go to! It was held at a beautiful venue at Crewe Hall in Cheshire, with all the wedding party going down the night before. Both families and friends were fabulous company and we had a great time.

The wedding was featured in the Ok Magazine, so you all know how utterly gorgeous she looked. It was a very romantic day, followed by a great party with Jocelyn Brown who was awesome. They are a great couple and we wish them a fabulous life together...

The British Hairdressing Awards.
This year was very successful for the team .
We had Katie Hubbard and Tammy Cox nominated for Newcomer of the Year. A great achievement for two young team members.
Michelle Lawley nominated for colourist of the Year. Her first time at entering the competion and her work was fabulous. Watch out she will win this!!!
Nick and I were nominated for Midlands Hairdresser of the year for the fifth time.
The night is the biggest event of the hairdressing industry and Fashion producer Lesley Goring was one of my guests for the evening, we all had an amazing night.

30th November
We have not done a local fashion show in 25 years, so when our friend Jean Davies approached us for our help with a charity event for the blind, we just couldn’t say no.

It was a great chance for our art team to show off their skills and talents to existing and hopefully new clients.
We did five sets, with some sexy young dancers, couture, underwear, blondes and an avant garde section which brought the house down.

The night was a great success with over £7,000 raised for the Blind Institute.   The audience and our team from the salon loved it and everyone had a good night out.
