January has not been a quiet month so far. Since moving into our new house, we wanted to have a dog again. I always had poodles when I was growing up, the breed is known for its intelligence and loyalty, so I knew a standard poodle would be right for us.

Over a lunch with Lesley Goring, she introduced to Peter Posh (the celebrity dog groomer) and he gave us a number of an international breeder in Oxford. We drove down to see the puppies and we chose a beautiful silver bitch and called her “Ruby”. We absolutely love her, even when I am standing in the rain with the brolly in the dark waiting for her to have a pooh. She still then comes in and does another one in the kitchen. Life will never be the same!

With the reforming of Atomic Kitten, Natasha approached Nick to do the hair for the new video. We have always been fans and after Natasha sang accopello at our Wedding you really appreciate what a fabulous voice she really has. The video is set in Liverpool, through the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s the record is Cilla Black’s “Anyone who has a heart’’. The video looks amazing.  Good Luck with the single!
While Nick was in London, I was presenting a Bridal Show of 2008 New Bridal collection.  We received great local interest and worked with a fabulous team from Margot Raybold in Wolverhampton.

Before Christmas, We were invited by L’Oreal to become an H3 Cube Ambassador for Paris. This will be working in Paris two days every month, collecting and discussing new ideas. I am sure it will be an amazing experience.

Make sure you watch Colleen’s new programme on ITV2 Thursday nights 9.00pm. Nick filmed the first episode with her. It was the first time he had met her properly, what a nice girl, we wish her every success in the show.
This month’s highlight will be a Master class for the fellowship on the 28th.

Tuesday 29th is the Wedding Ideas Luncheon. We were asked to be judges for their Bridal competition and the results will be presented at the lunch. It was held at the Riverside Plaza and we met people from the bridal industry, including top designer Ian Stuart.
Wednesday 30th, I will be working on a front cover for Perfect Wedding for March’s edition.
